District Arts Building - Portland, OR

This 2,800 SF build-out for The Joinery transformed a former bakery in Portland’s Pearl District into a retail space for handcrafted furniture. We collaborated closely with both the building owner and our client to navigate existing conditions and deliver a space that felt true to their brand and the building’s historic charm.

Upgrades included new lighting, plumbing, mechanical systems, and full finish work. The original floors posed a particular challenge, but we developed a solution that satisfied both the functional requirements and the aesthetic vision.
